Please bring non-perishable items to our Wednesday Caravan Meetings at the Mizell Center, or the GPSR Office. Your donation to our food drive will help provide food and essential items to our valley people in need.

Thank you, Desert Angels — they're everywhere! A big group of them recently gathered at the Palm Desert Greens Country Club and made Well in the Desert the recipient of their annual Christmas in July party. Together, they donated over 300 lbs of dry and canned food, along with more than $400 in cash contributions — what a marvelous surprise! Every Saturday, Well in the Desert fills boxes with food like this and hands them out to approximately 150 families in need. We've been doing this for over 20 years and have never missed a Saturday. (Thank you, Jerry!) With this generous donation, we'll be set up even better. The Desert Angels are also talking about putting up bins for a clothing drive, and a dozen residents came forward to volunteer for the upcoming Wishing Well benefit and anything else Well in the Desert does. Yep, these are truly special folks — Desert Angels indeed!
We celebrated and honored the incredible volunteers whose dedication and compassion make Well in the Desert's mission possible. This special reception was our way of saying thank you to the heart of our organization.
